Petite-Friendly Style with Express

Happy Friday! I don’t know about you guys, but it hasn’t quite sunk in yet that all the Christmas festivities are behind us, and we’re only a few days from ringing in 2020. I absolutely love creating holiday content and honestly am kind of sad to take down the holiday section of the blog.

I’ve had so many exciting collaborations in 2019, but easily one of my favorites is my recent collaboration with Express. (Check out this post for my favorite Express loungewear set!) Express is having a huge end-of-season sale with pieces up to 70% off, and because I genuinely loved every piece I selected for our first collaboration, I knew I needed to share this sale! Express has so many quality pieces that are petite-friendly, and won’t break the bank.

One downside about Express is that their items sell out SO QUICKLY! (Like my snakeskin moto jacket) There have been so many times when I’ve added items to my cart, gotten distracted by other things, and then come back to every item in my cart sold out. With that being said, they update new inventory pretty frequently which is amazing.

Not all Express pieces come in petite sizing, but I’ve noticed there are more sizing options now then there were a year ago. Most pieces range from XS-XL with some having options for petite and tall sizing. Definitely be on the lookout for these options if regular sizing isn’t always your best fit. If you are petite, I highly recommend checking out tops and jackets from Express that are cropped. Both my snakeskin jacket and black blouse are cropped styles and they fit me perfectly.

The weather has been unseasonably warm this Christmas in Virginia. I think Christmas day it was nearly 60º and it’s supposed to remain that warm through New Year’s Eve. Because of this unseasonably warm weather, layering has been a necessity because it’s too warm for puffer coats, but too cold to just wear a sweater alone. I absolutely love moto jackets for this type of weather. They pair perfectly with loungewear, jeans, or a nice dress and booties. I am really loving this faux suede moto jacket in sangria and think it’s the perfect color for the season!
